    Mrs Peters of "Yarra", Bibbenluke, passed away on Wednesday, aged 77 y ears. A native of Wales, she came to the colony with her parents Mr an d Mrs Nehemiah Thomas, and came to Monaro where she met and married he r husband, ade reared her family of Messra Edwin, John, Albert and Ear nest(Bibbenluke), James Ryan (Ballina), Mrs Evans (Sydney), and Mrs R Allen (Inverell). Burial took place in the Presbyterian Cemetery.

Note on Husband: James RYAN

James Ryan came from the Bowral district, and was licenced holder of " Creewah" and "Yarra" (or Murdering Range), an area of 32,000 acres. He married Ann Millikin nee Thomas, the widow of Thomas Park Millikin an d they had five sons, Edwin, James, John, Ernest and Albert. Also two daughters, Eva and Mary. Claude Ryan, for some years Postmaster at Bib benluke, is a son of Edwin. James Ryan was drowned in 1873, and his wi dow carried on the property, afterwards marrying a man called Peters.
