  • Thomas Park Millikin was the first overseer on Bibbenluke, for William Bradley. He married Ann Thomas. He died by drowning at age 26 years, and is buried beside Nehemiah Thomas, his father in law on the river b ank near Bibbenluke Station homestead. His diary, often referred to in this history(Frank Allen's a Big Lookout), is in the Mitchell Library . The inscription on his grave Is;" Thomas Park Milikin, died 1858".

    Mrs Peters of "Yarra", Bibbenluke, passed away on Wednesday, aged 77 y ears. A native of Wales, she came to the colony with her parents Mr an d Mrs Nehemiah Thomas, and came to Monaro where she met and married he r husband, ade reared her family of Messra Edwin, John, Albert and Ear nest(Bibbenluke), James Ryan (Ballina), Mrs Evans (Sydney), and Mrs R Allen (Inverell). Burial took place in the Presbyterian Cemetery.
